Others (Handbook, Wallpaper, etc.)
Le Corbusier often used hand-drawn renderings to present his ideas to the clients. Perhaps the equivalence of today's computer graphics and virtual realities. He didn't draft but seldom made sketches beside technical drawings of the drafters, expressing directly his thoughts and ideas about his designs. Some of his hand-drawings are printed in his portfolios and supplements for his literatures, but never published officially. Some were kept in his office or given away to his acquaintances, but often held qualities worthy of praise in their own rights.
Some of his drawings are even made into wallpapers by a Swiss company Salubra. A sample of wallpapers he made in 1931 and 1959 were called the “keyboards of colors,” displaying beautiful series of hues. Today, they are republished and sold as Corbusian color palettes.
